Urologist, urogynecologist and andrologist Gor Shadyan began his professional activity in 2014. He works as a urologist at Izmirlian Medical Center, Wigmore Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and also teaches at the Department of Urology and Andrology of Yerevan State Medical University. He also worked at the Cito Medical Center, Yolyan Hematology Center, Kanaker-Zeytun Maternity Hospital, and a hospital for prisoners.
He is a member of the Armenian, European, American and Russian urological associations.

Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of urogynecological problems. Treats urolithiasis in various ways (remote crushing of stones, endoscopic and other surgical interventions). Has extensive experience in treating various problems of the prostate gland, kidneys, and bladder.
Education and training
Studied at the Yerevan State Medical University. In 2017, he received the title of clinical resident. He took part in scientific and practical seminars “School of Laparoscopic Urology”.
In Prague, he participated in the 14th European Urological Education Program for Residents.
Since November 2021, he has been a participant in the urogynecologist training program organized by American and European urogynecologists.
He participated in the annual congresses of the European Urological Association in Madrid in 2015 and in Paris in 2024.
At the urological clinic of the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, he specialized in urogynecology under the guidance of the chief urologist of Russia and Moscow, academician Dmitry Pushkar.
He also completed training in urogynecology in St. Petersburg, at the St. Petersburg State University clinic (headed by Professor Dmitry Shkarupa).
